The Loyalist Inn has recently been purchased and is currently undergoing (Phase 1) of a major cleaning, updating and re-certification of operational equipment. If you don't mind a little noise and would like to save some money, book during our renovations and save.

The Loyalist Inn has a long and colorful history in Shelburne. It may have been the original site of the Merchant's Coffee House, where the first Loyalist founders gathered to discuss the daily happenings in what suddenly became the 4th largest city in North America.

For many years The Loyalist Inn was known as the Bower Hotel and today, The Loyalist Inn is the only remaining hotel in Shelburne and will be known again for its clean, affordable accommodations, perfectly located in the centre of the historic district where you can walk to the Dock Street. and just about everywhere.

Our licensed restaurant and lounge is currently closed. (and will re-open after Phase2)

Our rooms are now clean, comfortable and affordable, and offer all the amenities you would expect, including, private bath or shower, cable TV, free parking and more.

Phase 2 & Phase 3 will start after Phase 1 is complete.
