A festival of events themed around the 1967 UFO crash in Shag Harbour, Nova Scotia. This incident is the only UFO crash recorded and recognized by the
Canadian Government.
Come explore our museum, take a boat ride to the crash site, talk to locals who witnessed this event, take in a Lobster Dinner and enjoy the variety show. A UFO Symposium will also take place on August 7th. Learn more here.

The 11th Annual Whirligig Festival is held on Shelburne's Historic Dock Street. Explore and be amused by the vast array of whirligigs and weather vanes on display. $1500 worth of prizes will be awarded in different catergories. This festival was chosen as the BEST festival in Nova Scotia in 2007! Fun for young and old alike!
